FBU's student investment fund has multiple pods with analysts focused on developing and executing L/S equity and quantitive / systematic trading strategies. FBU's student fund gives the most ambitious and sharpest students a chance to apply their skills to generate real returns.
Students are expected to have pre-existing knowledge of financial concepts and technical skills.
Students do not have to be based in London; the fund is run virtually.
FBU Investment Academy
FBU's Investment Academy is an 8-week equity investment masterclass. Throughout the course of 8 sessions, students are taught everything from the technical skills and modelling to how to analyse companies and form unique views. Each session is led by industry leading hedge fund professionals so students can gain insights on how to think about companies in a way which allows them to generate market independent returns.
Students are not expected to have pre-existing knowledge, but a demonstrable interest in finance.
The top performing students in the academy are given the opportunity to join as analysts in the investment fund.
